Superb Fuzz Bass on this United States of America track from 1967.
So many excellent fuzz based sounds on this LP, non from an electric guitar! Rand Forbes was the very able bassist and continues to play to this day. Is still in contact with the USA drummer, Craig Woodson, as far as I know.
yeah no guitar is pretty unusual for the time, this is one of my favourite albums.
